Former X feature contestants One Direction have turn out to be the first British group to leave directly to the top of the US tune charts with their entrance album. X Factor moderator and music executive Simon Cowell signed the band to his record label Syco Music last year. The group has been busy through their US promotional tour, which has included playing a sequence of gigs with US boy band Big Time Rush and an appearance on breakfast program.
