The death toll from the explosion of two gas-filled rail tankers in Italy was revised down to 13 today.
The regional health agency in the northwestern resort of Viareggio had earlier reported 16 deaths from the blast, which engulf homes in fire.
Eleven bodies were at the morgue in Viareggio while two people died from their injuries at hospital in two nearby towns, ANSA news agency said.
