Robert Murphy from Tibbermore, Perth, was found guilty of abusing the girls in Airdrie flanked by 1967 and 1975.The High Court in Glasgow heard how he was 15-years-old when he attacked his first victim, a 10-years-old girl.
Moderator Lord Bannatyne also placed 57-year-old Murphy on the sex offenders' record for life.Before passing verdict, the judge said: "You have lived a useful life. However, rape is by its nature a serious matter and there can only be one possible sentence."Furthermore, these offences have had a substance and long term effect on the lives of the complainers. That was quite plain."
