Rain has arrived in Auckland this morning and gale force winds are touching south as a deep and violent low forms north west of New Zealand moves our way.
Overnight strong winds gusting over 100km/h moved in to Cape Reinga and this morning gales have increase south into the Hauraki Gulf where winds , at present gusting close to 90km/h.
