Suspected armed theft gang nabbed

Five men will face court in relationship with a series of armed robberies on cash-in-transit vans, after a striking roadside arrest in Sydney's inner west.

Police arrested the group after pulling over a car near James Street, Lilyfield just after 12.30pm yesterday.
A riot squad van and abundant other police cars were involved in the operation, played out before passing traffic on the City West Link.
