Murdered grandmother Lucia Amenta has been laid to rest, two weeks after her body was found in a barrel.
About 200 people gathered at the Tobin Brothers North Melbourne chapel to farewell the 70-year-old, who vanished 22 months ago.
Among those paying their respects were Mrs Amenta's husband of 46 years, Paolo, and son John.
It is believed she was later laid to rest in a grave at the Fawkner Crematorium and Memorial Park.
Her family bought a blue marble memorial there in 2005. It bears the words: "To dear Lucia Amenta. You will always be in our hearts."
