Haiti earthquake happened Tuesday that measured 7.0 on the Richter scale, the biggest one Caribbean has seen in nearly 200 years. More than 3 million people lost their homes and all their possessions.
The death toll is at an estimated 45,000 to 50,000 people.
USA president Obama said that America will stand by the people of Haiti in their hour of need.
President Obama announcing a $100m aid package and dispatching an aircraft carrier and relief ships, Wal-Mart Stores Inc said on Wednesday that it was donating $500,000 to the Red Cross and sending prepackaged food kits valued at $100,000 to Haiti.
