MUNICH – Germany says a nuclear-armed Iran is "unacceptable" and that Tehran wants to verify to the world that its pgm is for peaceful purposes only.Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle told a gathering of the the world's major defense officials in Munich Saturday said that "a nuclear-armed Iran is unacceptable for us" and would "guide to a destabilization of the whole area."
Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki recommended the night before that he believed that Tehran was "approaching a final agreement" on its nuclear program.But Westerwelle, Germany's sub- chancellor, says if Iran is actually serious it "must take action."
