SRK MNIK to be dubbed in 2 languages

Shah Rukh Khan’s latest release My Name is Khan will immediately release the film dubbed German & Turkish language.

Vijay Singh, CEO of Star-Fox, confirmed and told, “We need to increase our audiences beyond the Indian Diasporas. Naturally Bollywood has a lifespan of 2 weeks abroad. We went to 45 countries when it released on Feb 12. Now we plan to go to another 25 countries among March & June. In April we will start 50 prints of MNIK in Poland with Polish subtitles.”

Explaining why it won’t be dubbed in Arabic & Polish, Singh said, “We required dubbing it in Arabic, but our representatives said the Mid-East audience needs to see Hindi films in Hindi. Similarly, Poland is no visitor to Bollywood, so we don’t need to dub in Polish. However, to reach out to a wider audience we do need to dub it in German & Turkish. The details are being worked out. We sure to release the dubbed versions later than the function Shah Rukh got in Berlin.”
