U.S. rocket Kills Taliban Leader's Brother

http://www.news-updations.blogspot.com/ A younger brother of Sirajuddin Haqqani, one of the Afghan Taliban commanders whose fighters focus on Kabul & eastern Afghanistan, was killed when a rocket fired by a CIA drone struck a car in which he was travelling, depending to a Pakistani intelligence officer & a local resident.

The drone strike occurred Thursday in North Waziristan, the foundation for the Haqqani network & for several Arab &Taliban militants who fight in Afghanistan & Pakistan. But Muhammad Haqqani, the youngest son of famed mujahedin leader Jalaluddin Haqqani & his first wife played no significance in the Taliban network, depending to the intelligence officer.

The CIA has under attack the Haqqani & its related networks in North Waziristan lengthily, particularly since a suicide bomber killed 7 CIA officers’ just crossways the border in Khost, Afghanistan, in late December. But this appears to be the 1st time a drone has effectively targeted 1 of Jalaluddin's sons. 1 of Jalaluddin's other sons was killed a few years ago in Afghanistan, the Pakistani intelligence officer said.
