Thomas Vermaelen was sent off for carrying down Guillermo Franco in the box on the stroke of half-time but Almunia brilliantly saved Alessandro Diamanti's penalty.Manchester United swapped Arsenal as leaders by striking Liverpool the next day & will be in power of their own destiny as long as they remain winning. But Almunia has notified that Arsenal is ready for the challenge & will appear to capitalize on any slip-ups.
