Driver flees checkpoint after one dead

The young female driver goes faster away from the checkpoint before police could carry out a breath alcohol screening test on her.

Later than the police followed the vehicle, they exposed she had driven into one more car & she has killing one middle-aged female driver. One person is dead after other driver fleeing a police checkpoint in Blenheim, smashed into the car, killing its driver.

The crash scene has been barrier off & they will be inspected by the Serious Crash Unit on Saturday.
