Earthquake struck in Philippines

Strong earthquakes strike the Philippines early Thursday afternoon, according to the report.

The 6.1 magnitude earthquake hits in the Mindoro region of the Philippines. The epicenter was close to the 86 miles(139 km) from the capital, Manila, & was about 45 miles deep, the Seismological Institute of the Philippines report said.

The quake was felt in Quezon City on the island of Luzon & also felt at Lubang Island, the report said. There were no instant reports of damage or hurts.
