The Indianapolis Colts have re-signed middle linebacker Gary Brackett, the chief of their defense.An appetizer for the last 5 seasons, Brackett became an unobstructed free agent on Friday. But he suddenly rejoined the Colts, for whom he had more than 100 tackles in each of those 5 years.
The defensive player’s captain, Brackett was an undrafted draftee out of Rutgers who signed with the Colts in 2003. He has 674 career undertakes, 11 interceptions, 5 compulsory fumbles & 3 recovered fumbles.
