Police kill man suspected of shooting wife in California

Police close to Los Angeles declare officers have mortally shot a man who chased his separated wife down the street. He fired a gun at her multiple times, mystery her with bullets.

Police told the suspect went to the residence where his wife was staying. Neighbors said hearing gunshots & a woman screaming.

When officers arrived they found the woman fleeing on foot & the man chasing after her & shooting. One officer opened fire on the suspect, who died at the scene. Prendergast says the woman was taken to a hospital & is in critical condition.
