Mo. auto dealer pleads guilty to aiding al-Qaida

KANSAS CITY, Missouri -- A Kansas City used car and auto parts dealer has admitted to sending money to al-Qaida.

32-old Khalid Ouazzani pleaded guilty to several charges Wednesday morning in federal court in Kansas City.

The Moroccan-born naturalized U.S. citizen admitted he sent $23,500 to the terrorist organization through a bank in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) between August and November 2007.

A message left with Ouazzani's attorney seeking comment was not immediately returned.
