Mirza Zukanovic jailed for blowing bubble gum in court

A MAGISTRATE threw an apprentice painter behind the bars for blowing a bubble in his court.

Magistrate Rodney Crisp charged Mirza Zukanovic, 20, with the contempt and jailed him for 30 days.

The charge sheet shows that Zukanovic, who was appearing on an assault-related matter, earned Mr Crisp's wrath after he deliberately blew and popped a bubble of gum while he was looking at the magistrate.
