A MAN accused of murdering his three sons has wept as he told a jury he did not leave them to drown in a dam.
Robert Farquharson, 40, is charged with murdering sons Jai, 10, Tyler, 7 and Bailey, 2, at Winchelsea on Father's Day, 2005, by driving them into a dam.
He has pleaded not guilty to all charges, claiming he blacked out during a coughing fit and was unable to save his sons before the car sank in deep water, the Herald Sun reports.
