Britain Hands Over to U.S. in Deadly Afghan District

Britain takes out the last of its Royal Marines from the aggressive Sangin District in northern Helmand Province on Monday, handing organize in that Taliban stronghold to American troops.

More than 100 British soldiers died in Sangin, nearly a third of that country’s wounded since 2001.

British, Afghan and American military officials are firmed it was a routine battleground turning round, but the Afghan protection minister, Abdul Rahim Wardak, told the BBC in an question on Monday that American troops were better equipped and better skilled than British ones.
