Bomb attacks kill 2 in Pakistan
The Pakistan Police news a pair of bomb attacks in northwest Pakistan have killed two officers and injured 10 others.

Police bureaucrat Ghulam Hussain said one coworker died in curb blast Thursday in Bannu district.

Bureaucrat Rafique Khan says the added sufferer fell to a close at hand bombing not far from the main northwestern city of Peshawar.

Islamist militants with basis in the northwest have passed out score of Bomb attacks on police and army target over the last three years. They are seeking to cause the downfall of the U.S.-allied, democratically voted government and substitute it with a pro-Taliban Islamic emirate.
