Canada arrests man wanted on U.S. terrorism charges

Canadian police force have under arrest a man accused of helping stage suicide bomb attacks in Iraq, counting one that killed five U.S. soldiers, official said on Wednesday.

The man, identified by Canadian authorities as Sayfildin Tahir Sharif, was under arrest in Edmonton, Alberta at the insist of the United States, which wants to move him to New York to countenance terrorism charges.

Canadian police said he was a Canadian resident, other than did not say how extended he had been livelihood in Canada.

Sharif was also recognized as Faruq Khalil Muhammad Isa, and used at least two other names, according to U.S. bureaucrat.
