Bailiff misleads court into mistaken judgment

The applications was looking for a stay of proceedings in a case in which Dramani's citizenship is being challenged, but it was struck out for want of examination due to the wrong information provided the court by Ofori.

Consequently, the Court has ordered the registrar to statement the conduct of Ofori to the appropriate quarters within the judiciary for disciplinary action to be taken against him.

The court, constitute by Justice G.M. Quaye, Justice Mariam Owusu and Justice Victor Ofoe, on August 10, struck out the application filed by Adamu Daramani to stay the proceedings of the High Court which planned him to vacate his seat for holding dual citizenship, according to the Ghanaian Times.
