Wood initiates Masters Charge

Tiger Woods has initiated his charge for a 15th career major after come back to competitive action at the Masters in Augusta. The world no1 was greeting on to the 1st tee by a crowd of 1000s & was welcomed with cheers, & a few jeers, as his name was announced.

Tiger Woods showed some signs of nerves as his drive in 300 yards down the middle of the fairway to signal his come back to golf. He has been out of the game since November 2009 after revelations of extramarital affairs showed in the press.

Woods has been the center of attention at Augusta in the build-up to Thursday's tee-off & he looked the world's media for the 1st time at a press conference on Monday.
