WikiLeaks preparing to release more Afghan files


WikiLeaks orator Julian Assange said Thursday his organization is get ready to release the rest of the secret Afghan war documents it has on file. The Pentagon warned that would be still more damaging than the organization initial release of some 76,000 war files WikiLeaks preparing to release more Afghan files .

That strange disclosure, which laid bare classified military papers covering the war in Afghanistan from 2004 to 2010, has angered U.S. officials, drawn the notice of the Taliban, and eager critics of the NATO-led campaign.

The U.S. military has accused WikiLeaks of endangering the lives of soldiers and informant in the field and demand that the group abstain from publishing any more secret data.

Talking via videolink to London's Frontline Club, Assange said he had no intent of complying. He gave no specific timeframe for their release, bar he said that his association was about halfway through 15,000 or so secret files formerly held back from publication.
