Guard also the Gunman died at Las Vagas

Las Vegas, NV, United States - A gunman shot dead a security guard at a federal courthouse in Las Vegas before being shot dead by US marshals Monday morning. One marshal was injured and is getting better in a hospital.

The FBI, US Marshals as well as local police is together investigating the shooting in the lobby of the Lloyd D. George Federal Courthouse just about 8 a.m.

The gunman, who has yet to be identified, shot the security official before he engaged US marshals in a shootout.

The Clark County Regional Justice Center in downtown Las Vegas was evacuated and closed Monday because of the shooting. The Las Vegas Academy, which has around 1,600 students, was temporarily locked down during the shooting as a safety measure.
