A woman has been emotional with the stabbing murder of a man in Mt Isa.
The 48-year-old man's body was exposed in bushland near the Mt Isa railway station in northwestern Queensland on 10.30pm (AEST) on Thursday night.
First investigation indicated he suffered a single stab wound to the inferior body from a knife, police said.
"Police have conducted wide searches today to locate the weapon and more than a few people have spoken to police," a police spokesman said on Friday.
A 38-year-old Mount Isa woman was later charged with the man's murder.
She is due to appear in the Mt Isa Magistrates Court on Saturday
