As a minimum 80 people were killed in Christmas Eve bombings and fights between Muslim and Christian youths in central Nigeria, official say.
The police said on Saturday 32 people were killed in the bomb attack but with more than 100 injured in hospital the death count was predictable to raise.
"We have healthier 80 dead bodies so far in Jos," Daniel Gambo, an official at the Nigerian emergency organization agency said late on Monday.
The chief of defense staff said two suspects were under arrest in Jos, the capital of Plateau state, in ownership of dynamite and hazardous weapons on Monday.

Twin suicide bombings rocked an administration multifaceted in Iraq's western city Ramadi on Monday; with a police base saying more than 17 people had been killed.
Particulars of the Bomb attack, the second on the many-sided this month, were still sketchy, with a number of confusion nearby the number of those killed and offended.
"The death toll has rise to 17, most of them police officers, and 47 people have been injured," said a police administrator at the site of the attack, speaking on situation of anonymity. He said the blast was caused by two consecutive vehicle bombs, and save processes were still under way.

Gunmen in Iraqi military consistent broke into the homes of their own clan members on Monday and killed four people for notifying on al Qaeda.
Unconnectedly, a senior police officer was injured in a roadside bomb attack in Baghdad, as daily violence continued to clatter a country struggling to form a new government seven months after an open to doubt election.
In the most recent attack, nine gunmen tempest the homes of two families in al-Sila village south of Baghdad, detained five men and shot them execution-style on the shore of a nearby lake, said a security source. One lived and was hospitalized.
"This area was an al Qaeda stranglehold before," said the source, who spoke on state of anonymity. "It is inhabited by one tribe, but it is separated into two parts, with one loyal to al Qaeda and the other against it."

A World War II bomb killed three people trying to defuse it and injured six others in Goettingen, central Germany on Tuesday, police said.
The incident occurred as specialists tried to make the 2,205-pound device safe after workers discovered it while working on the construction of a sports stadium.
All the victims were involved in the clearance operation, said a police statement, which offered no further details.
Bombs left over from the war are routinely discovered in Germany, with four found over the past two months in Berlin alone, according to press reports.
Moscow, Russia -- A bombing outside a planned performance in a dance company from the restive Russian republic of Chechnya left six people dead and more than 40 wounded on Wednesday, state media reported.
The bomb went off outside a community center in the southwestern Russian city of Stavropol, according to the Investigation Committee of the Russian Prosecutor's Office, which is called the explosion "an act of terror." The blast happened about 6.45 p.m. (10:45 a.m. ET), 15 minutes before the Chechen dance company Vainakh was scheduled to perform, the committee reported.
One of the dead included a preteen girl, according to state-run news agency RIA-Novosti.
Early reports indicate the bomb was detonated by remote control and used about 200 grams (7 ounces) of explosives, said Yekaterina Danilova, a spokeswoman for the committee. The device was packed with small metal objects meant to inflict maximum harm, she said.
